why do mw's measure ur bunp?

i'm sure everyone has different sized bumps so what is the point of measuring them? what can they gain from that? can they feel the baby is that it??? xx

  • hi they measure the size as it helps them see if it measures the same as the amount of weeks you are.

    its from the top of the pubic line to top of uterus. it gives them a good idea how things are progressing.
    for example 24wks should be the same as measuring 24cm. 1cm =1 wk.
