  • I'm a big Take That fan too and have been to every tour they've done since 1992. When tickets for this upcoming tour went on sale, I really wanted to go but having had major probs trying to get tickets in the past - especially the last tour - I just couldn't be bothered to even try for tickets in the end, I suppose you could say I sort of thought, what's the point I'll never get any tickets, that plus the fact I'm expecting (due 1st Aug). So unfortunately this year I won't be going at all to this tour not only because of the ticket situation but because I just didn't want to risk it with being pregnant. If it was just a theatre show such as a musical or something, I might have just gone but not a concert, not for me personally anyway.

As for the driving, I'm now 31 weeks today and I can now only drive for about an hour max, as I start to get pins and needles in my right leg, plus I find it a bit uncomfortable on my bump too. I've recently been to Cornwall for a week and we (me and my husband) went in the car. I was all for taking turns with the driving, but that's when I found out I couldn't do as much of the driving as I'd hoped, so hubby ended up doing virtually all the driving. I'm ok driving locally here, to the supermarket or to see friends and family but any further I know I'd struggle now. But then again, everyone is different though so I suppose it just depends on how you feel yourself.

  • Im the same as you hun, I bought Take That Tickets when we were ttc as I thought id better start getting on with my life after a year of ttc with no success, I also booked a holiday. Was very shocked and delighted to discover I was pregnant in November but Gutted about the Take That Concertt.

My l/o is due on 8th August and my concert date was 4th July so I decided not to go. My friends basically all advised against it due to the noise and the risks of labour, being squashed, heat etc. I was convinced that it was not the right environment for a hevily pregnant woman. The one plus side was that if I went into Labour I may get to go backstage lol

I sold my tickets on e-bay and got ??195.00, they are due to arrive soon and I honestly dont feel bad as I got so much money for them and I know how excited the person im selling them is to be going.

I am gutted about not going to see the boys but I am sure I will get tickets for their next show and I will be feeling more comfortable and be able to have a few drinks and really let my hair down. Im glad I made that decision now as I cant sit down for long periods and I get tired early and my SPD is playing up so god knows how ill be feeling in 5 weeks time!

Do whatever is right for you hun, if your feeling really well then go but just be careful and if you contact the venue in advance you may even be able to get escorted to your seat and make sure the first aiders know where you are in case yu get so excited your waters break (how embarrassing would that be lol)

  • I went to Boyzone on Friday night at 35+5 and I didn't go into labour! I went with mil, my mum and a friend. We went on the train, took ages cos my mum uses a wheelchair so couldn't use the underground so had to walk quite a bit. My Hubby picked us up in the car, 4 hour round trip, bless him! I was knackered by the end of it but glad I went. Was worried about noise for a bit, but mostly about subjecting poor baby to Eoghan Quigg who was support act! Once concert started I really enjoyed it. Sat down every so often during costume changes etc. Not going to lie to you, it was hard work and I did ache after but baby has been moving around loads since and I'm fine now and glad I went.
