what sex is the baby

Hi there, does any one know when you can find out the sex of the baby? is it at the 12 week or 20 week scan?
Some one told me the other day it was the 12 week scan, is this true?

20 - but not all hospitals tell you. you can have a sexing scan at 16 weeks, but you have to pay for that.

Usually 20 weeks.. Its more reliable by then too. Amirah xo

I read somewhere that a really good sonogragher can tell at 12 weeks but its not very accurate. It is usually at the 20 week scan but sometimes they cannot tell u if the baby is laying in an awkward position or has its legs crossed!!

i had my 20 week scan today and she said they don't tell you and they don't bother looking. But wasn't bothered as i already knew.
