does anyone know what this is?

hi, i don't know if i should be worried but for over a wk now i've been getting a burning type of itch at the top of my bump on the left hand side, it's a strange feeling and i've never had it before and it isn't anywhere else does anyone know if it is pregnancy related or am i just being weird. there is no rash either.

can anyone help. x x

How far on r u?
I dunno wot this could be, But my belly is always itching me my midwife says its just my belly growing, But i never had the burning sensation, Dont think its anything 2 worry about, but get checked out just 2 put ur mind at rest xx

i'll be 30wks on wed. it's wierd i know it's not my belly stretching cos of where it is and trust me my belly has been stretched plenty already lol.
the burning feeling is quite uncomfortable but it's only in the one spot, i will ask m/w next time.x x

Oh rite, i have 47 days left but never had burning sensation, just ask midwife, it will be nothing 2 worry about,
Do u know the sex of ur baby? When u due?

Im also having a boy due 15th sept, not long now time is going so quick im getting really scared now, my midwife suggested i had a home birth as my pregnancy is going really well, R u having a home birth? Have u thought of any names 4 ur little 1? How many children do u have?

Hi - I'm 37 wks tomorrow and my belly is covered in a rash with horrible itching - I've had it for about a week. Been to doctors, they did a liver function blood test, which was clear, doctor has prescribed me antihistamines as he thinks its a reaction to something - what I don't know - probably being pregnant!! I have mw tomorrow and am going to ask her before I start taking tablets - my advice is to get it checked out as it could be something or hopefully absolutely nothing!!

Itching can be a sign of the liver not functioning properly in pregnancy. I cant remember exactly. best to ask your midwife.

Hi, no itching by me but i do get a little pain by my belly button at the end of each day and asked Doctor sho said it was nothing, probably ligaments pulling but I get it quite a bit in the same place. Had 30 week scan yesterday and all OK so put mind at rest. I would get itching checked out though. My doc has always told me to tell him if i get itching

hi, glad your scan went ok.
i also have a pain just by my belly button thats all it was with my last pregnancy then it went when i had him it's back again now but with a lump that sticks out and i can push it back in, mine i think is a hernia. so just keep your eye on it or see what your m/w thinks x
