"true knot" in umbilical cord

my first child was born with a true knot in her umbilical cord, i didnt think anything of it really, but the midwives were quite amazed as if it was quite rare (the cord had a knot in it like the baby had done a big cricle and tied a knot in her cord.

but i just happened to be looking at something on internet and saw that this can often be the casue of still births! im so shocked, my wee girl could have died and i wasnt even aware thats what that meant!

has anyone else ever had this? it also said it is from abnormally long cords, so do you think it could happen again this time?
