1st time & so confused. Please help.

I took a test 3 days ago because i was did not have my period this month of june. This is my first time and i want to know if that could be a positive. I haven't told anyone yet, i couldn't tell my bpyfriend since he was very busy and had no time to talk. I am so confused. I wasn't able to sleep for days. Please let me know your thought. Should i take another test?
