How many weeks will I be? Help please

My last period started 26/8/19. Cycle is anything between 35/32 days long. I believe I got a positive opk 13/9/19. I have a private scan booked for 30/10/19. My midwife says I’ll be 9 weeks 3 days but if my cycles are longer and I didn’t ovulate till date above wouldn’t that only make me around 6 weeks 5 days? Will I see a 6/7 week old foetus or an older one? I’m super confused how midwives work this out I did explain to her my cycles are longer than 28days but she was adamant the screen will show a 9 week one?

You calculate from first day of ur last period and then will adjust the date at dating scan at 12 weeks. Congrats on ur pregnancy

As Madoda said, it is from your last period... if you ov’d late it will push you back but only by a few days, not a couple of weeks so you should still see a foetus approx 9 weeks at your scan next week.
