Excruciating pain at night! Gas

hi all hi I am 5 weeks + 4 (second pregnancy) and basically since BFP I have been woken up almost every night (around midnight) by what feels like period cramps in my back. So uncomfortable usually go into bath room and rock on the floor till it eases. Last night it was unbearable back and front killing and I think it’s gas as (tmi) five massive farts came out whilst crumpled on the floor. It was so bad my husband heard me crying and came to see if I was ok. Anyone got any tips for stopping gas like this. Don’t remember this with my first pregnancy.
