Allergies in pregnancy. Did your babies have problems afterwards?
Hi everyone,
This question is for anybody who suffered allergies in pregnancy. I am wondering if any of your children had developmental problems such as autism afterwards?
Upon googling whether my allergy medication was safe in pregnancy the other day, I came across some studies which linked maternal immune activation in pregnancy such as from allergies and severe autism in children born.
I cannot stop thinking about it, as severe autism is something I was worried about anyway, as my babys first cousin has it. My allergies are terrible this pregnancy. For the last 2 months I have had daily mouth itching and eye watering. My skin is also really irritated at all times.
I am just looking for some positive stories really as I feel I have no1 to ask about this.
