  • How quickly have these past six weeks gone?

I have absolutely LOVED trying the products! My tummy has never been so moisturised and well looked after!

I am now 26 weeks pregnant (baby number 2) and feel like I’m growing by the day. The daily pampering with these products has been such a treat. My husband has also enjoyed massaging them into my stomach in the evenings as a bonding for him and baby.

I love the fragrance of them all, and how it’s not too overpowering (especially for that lovely pregnancy sense of smell!)

Iv tried to use each product fairly to give them all a good try, but I must say my overall favourite is the Massage Lotion. It soaks into my skin without leaving me feeling sticky, and the pump just gives it that extra ease of use. The massage cream comes in at a close second. Also really lovely to apply, with a slightly thicker texture, and is packed in my case for my holiday to Spain tomorrow! The tummy butter feels very luxurious, but is very difficult to apply as it’s so solid in the tub.

I will continue to use these products right through my pregnancy. Lucky enough to not have any stretch marks so far too. Thanks for picking me to take part In this trial. xx

  • Hi @LaurenH2 thanks so much for the feedback and pics. Would you mind please answering this final question:

    4. Would you recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Stretch Mark Range to other pregnant women? If so, please say why.

I would 100% recommend this range to other pregnant women (and already have), because it give a long lasting moisturise, smells amazing and for a brilliant price, what more could you ask for 😀

  • Here are my bump pictures after 6 weeks. I must stress that I had a few faint stretch marks before starting the trial and they haven’t got any worse. I’m nearly 32 weeks now.

Overall I have loved using the Palmers products, especially the Massage Lotion, it soaks in quickly and my bump feels well moisturised after. I liked the tummy butter the least, the others had a lovely smooth texture but this one I found greasy on my skin.

i loved the scent, nice and soothing but not too overpowering.

i would recommend these products to other pregnant (and non pregnant!) friends, I haven’t formed any new stretch marks and I plan to buy more for this pregnancy when I run out.

@DanielleMFM I hope this is enough, let me know if you need anything more from me 😊
  • That's great @HappyHappy2019 - thank you so much!
  • Excuse my hairy belly. Havent had any energy lol. But i must say at 19 weeks pregnant i haven't had any stretch marks.

In all the products are great other than the butter one as it was really had could only honesty use twice.
Loved the massage lotion i think that was the best one out of all products.

Loved the scents weren't overpowering considering i had a brief hospital stay due to hypermesis.

Overall i would recommend this product these products to all my family and friends.

Will most defo re buy once i run out.

    Happy easter everyone!

  • 6 weeks of use and still no new visable stretchmarks, I have my ones from my previous pregnancy but can't see anything new even starting to appear and I am bigger at this stage of my pregnancy than the same time previously. I no longer have an itchy belly and it feels so smooth and hydrated. I love the smell and the fact that the smell/hydration lasts a long time. I would most definitely recommend these products as they are great value for money and clearly work very well, I will be continuing to use them to the end of my pregnancy and look at other Palmers products in the future for myself and baby when he is here. Thank you for the chance to test these out.
  • Well here we are at the end of the six weeks. Firstly, here are my bump pictures weeks 2-6.

I am now 33 weeks pregnant. I have been really impressed with all three of the Palmers products, more so as the test went on.

the look of the products themselves is nice - though I feel more sustainable packaging would be good  - it would be nice to see a company like Palmers being future forward and responsible and thinking about alternatives to plastics.
Having said that, the look and feel of the products is nice and not too synthetic. All three are different but good and quite complementary.

My favourite probably ended up being the cream in a tube - but the tummy butter is a nice surprise and has a good after feel and after effect. A lot depends on what texture you prefer - however across the range all tastes are catered for! I personally like to use a mixture of good, natural creams and natural oils or butters, so these Palmers products suited me well.

the results seem pretty good! This is my fourth pregnancy and I am a petite person with a very large bump! That makes me stretch mark material I guess!  However as you can see, that ridiculous bump is pretty much stretch mark free, and the skin feel of the products is good - I have very sensitive skin and have not been irritated at all by these products, but in fact quite soothed.

thank you for this opportunity. Hope this feedback helps some people!

  • So here my tummy after using this products for 5 weeks. It might not be comparable with my skin or it just didn't do much for me as I kept seeing more and more stretch marks coming up every week. Kept as well having fleiky texture after use. It won't dry quick enough. I posted only 3 pics here cause I have already posted 2 weeks prior. Thank you for the opportunity of trying a new product but this time it didn't work for me. X

  • I didn’t mention the scent! Three different scents, all quite natural smelling and not overpowering. I found the general effect pleasant and worked well with the products.

    Thank you!
  • I am now 29 weeks pregnant and began using the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Stretch Marks Range 6 weeks ago. Here are my last 5 bump photos.

Here’s what I think of the look, texture and scent of each product I’ve tried:

    Lotion:

Look: I still think the bottle is very aesthetically pleasing and the lotion itself.

Texture: I like the texture of the lotion, it rubs in well and leaves my skin feeling moisturised. Sometimes it does leave my skin a little flakey however.

Scent: the Palmer’s lotion smells fantastic! I like the smell of the cocoa butter.

    Cream:

Look: the cream looks great! I’m not sure how sustainable the plastic bottles are, perhaps there’s a more eco friendly way to package the products.

Texture: the cream is much thicker than the lotion but also rubs in to my skin well. I use it on any suspected established stretch marks and try to use it at a different time than when I use the lotion.

Scent: the cream smells lovely, just like the lotion.

    Tummy butter:

Look: the tummy butter pot looks good and the butter itself is a more golden colour than the lotion and cream.

Texture: unfortunately the tummy butter and I never got on. Even when I could get it out of the pot I found it quite heavy and more greasy than the other products.

Scent: the tummy butter still smells amazing though! All three of the products look and smell great.

I definitely have recommended the lotion and the cream to pregnant friends. They were both wonderful for my skin whilst on holiday and afterwards. I don’t usually moisturise everyday but I think my skin has really enjoyed it for the last 6 weeks. Even though I am small and my baby is big I feel quite lucky that I don’t have any stretch marks at all on my bump and only a few on my thighs. Thank you for the products!

    Hope my feedback is good.

    That's perfect, thank you

Hi @Abi Hardy  thanks so much for the feedback and pics. Would you mind please answering this final question:

  • I used the products from 22 weeks to 28 weeks. I ended up using the lotion the most due to the convenience of the pump and ease of applocation. If I had any particularly stretchy or itchy days I would use the butter but did get frustrated scraping it out and then my skin feeling crusty and tacky after use. With all the products my skin felt moisturised long after application. The lotion and cream dried nicely also!
I would recommend the products to family and friends but give a heads up about the butter.

Actually, I would. I understand everyone’s skin is unique and responds differently to many things, but having experience of sensitive skin myself and also as a massage therapist and Mum in my fourth pregnancy - I would say this Palmer’s range is definitely one of the very best options I have come across as a specialist pregnancy range, and I would recommend it for skin health and elasticity.

  • Week Six,

I’m really glad to have taken part in the trial as it’s given me the opportunity to try something that I never would have considered. After six weeks, I still have no stretch marks which is the biggest plus for me.
But I also feel super moistured, I would go as far as to say that my skin feels luxurious.

The products do feel more expensive than they are, and are packaged well and show clearly what they are for.

of the three products I have had a love affair with the massage cream in the tube firstly ans then the massage lotion in the pump bottle. They are both easy to rub in and leave the skin feeling lovely, they also take next to no time to rub in, so perfect with an energetic toddler to run around after and smell different to the normal palmers smell, but still smell great.

I have to admit that I have had a love hate relationship with the body butter and I think that although it is harder to use has really helped to boost the moisture and texture of my tummy, so sticking with it and putting in the effort has been worth it.

I have previously used Palmer’s and loved it, but wouldn’t have joined the dots and considered using Palmers for help with stretch marks, but this is a range of products that I would definitely recommend.

  • Thank you for letting me be involved with this

Cannot believe it’s been 6 weeks!
After using these products I have to say the scent is amazing.
My favourite product is the massage cream. It applies so easily and is not sticky at all.
My last favourite is the body butter. The main reason for this is it is so hard to get out the tub. I still am yet to have any stretch marks and I will continue to use and buy this product through my pregnancy.

I would definitely recommend this product. It is so nice and moisturising it makes my bump really smooth and soft without a nasty sticky feel or horrible smell. I will definitely be purchasing more of the massage cream.

    Thanks again
  • I am now 34 weeks pregnant and thanks so much for the opportunity to take part in the palmers pregnancy product testing.

sent - not overbearing as smells are really getting to me throughout my journey. The original palmers product, I find quite a strong sent but this is perfect.

I love the concept and the fact you can tell it’s a pregnancy related product from the packaging. This is my second pregnancy and feel the massage lotion has saved my skin massively from stretch marks. I’ve have some stretch marks around my hips but they’ve been there for years due to erratic Wright gain and loss prior to my first pregnancy.

I loved all of the products, but my favourite being the massage lotion, it felt moist, refreshing and blended well into my sensative skin.

would I recommend this product to others ‘absolutely YES and for all expecting Mother’s to please try this range of products you will not be disappointed’

I’m so grateful to have trialled Palmers through out my pregnancy journey which for me has reduced the appearance of those dreaded stretch marks.

    carly x

  • First of all I apologise for the pictures, doesn't seem to be putting them in the right order and not sure why.

So glad I was picked to trial these Palmers products, I don't think my skin has ever felt so soft and moisturised.

I love the cream and lotion and will definitely be continuing with those until the end of my pregnancy. I'm still not a fan of the tummy butter and really struggle with the scent, I found it a little too over powering for my liking. Also find the texture to thick and a little difficult to rub in properly

Still impressed with the general look of the products, very easy to notice on the shelves when out shopping. And the pump on the lotion makes it so easy to use.

I've recommended these products to a couple of friends that are also expecting.

Danielle, Let me know if you need anything else 😊 and thank you again
