Pregnancy clothes - what do you think?

I'm planning to buy some pregnancy clothes for myself. And - wow, there are so many beautiful dresses, tops, tunics on the internet. But... I came across top with print "It's a boy/It's a girl". Very nice, but I've started wondering... Is it appropriate to tell the whole world about child's gender? Is it stupid to buy something like this?
