booster seats and airbags

Hi, as my son sometimes gets travel sick we were thinking of sitting him in the passenger seat on his booster seat. Does anyone know if we need to disable the airbag before doing this or are we OK to leave it? He is 5 and quite tall for his age, but obviously not adult sized!

Hi, it's best to disable the air bags, my brother suffered a broken shoulder when he was 9 due to an airbag xx
