Let's talk BABY SOCKS!! any amazing inventions.. The best ones

Hello everyone, I love trying all sorts of new little inventions for my little one but having a right nightmare with baby socks. My boy is always pulling them off getting all sorts of weird looking things on them. Anyone know any nifty sock inventions for the little bubbas (ah and one's that wash up well as well) Tried sock ons but they look pretty ugly on top of the socks I think :S
