Toxic chemicals in baby products

I'm new to all of this, but was wondering if:

Fellow mums are aware of toxic chemicals in products they buy their newborns?
Which products you care about the most for this? E.g. soaps, nappies, wipes
Whether you would pay more for non-toxic products for babies - such as nappies and wipes.
