Hi, I struggled to decide when I was looking for my LO's mattress - my mum made my mind up for me as she said just go for the best as it is a cot bed & he will be sleeping on it for years then you want it to be good & last. I bought mine from Mothercare, it cost ??99 over a year ago (I think the prices are still the same), it is sprung with 'Coolmax' & has a zip off cover which can be washed & the side with the zip off top has a waterproof cover. To me it is an investment buy & worth the spend & I'd saved loads on other stuff. I have recently bought a cot off eBay second hand that included the foam mattress which I will be replacing but my sister came over to stay & her little bb who weighs nothing slept on it & left big indents so it will definitely be going! I will be buying the Mothercare mattress again for this one. Last time I found a discount code on the internet for my purchase from Mothercare. xxx
