Recommend a cot toy for early morning waking!

My DD is 8 months and has started waking early morning and I wondered if a cot side toy would maybe keep her entertained for a little while so I can get a bit more sleep!!!
We have got a piano type toy that attaches to the cot but I would be worried that she would roll into it during the night and that it would wake her up (quite noisy and tunes go on for ages!)
Does suggestions?
