Miracle Swaddling Blankets are great!
I just want to recommend the shaped swaddling blankets such as mothercares miracle swaddling blanket. (about ??15)
When the midwives told me to swaddle at first i was convinced my baby hated being so tightly wrapped up, was worried she would overheat using a traditional blanket and it always looked bunched up and uncomfortable so i gave up. Then someone told me about these shaped blankets so i got one the next day and its brilliant.
its thin soft cotton so she doesn't get too hot and it lays smooth and it keeps her calm and tucked in for most of the night. she usually gets at least one arm out eventually but by then shes genuinely hungry anyway and not just waking up coz shes made herself jump hitting herself in the face.
