Father refusing

not on birth certificate, refuses to pay the correct CSA! refuses a contact centre!

what else can the mother do except take the threat of being taken to court or have it his way?

  • Sadly if you are not married then he won't be on the birth certificate without being present to register the birth. If he is not on the certificate then he has effectively no rights whatsoever with the child.

You would need to contact CSA who would then chase him for the money. He would be asked to prove he is not the father via DNA test if he refuses to pay, if test is negative then he is left alone while if test is positive he will be added to the birth certificate by the courts & will have CSA collect the money on a regular basis (organising visits will then be up to him).
