Can't stand my mother-in-law - anyone else?

Hi Everyone i‘m a new member and Im sorry for the long post but the problem is my mother in law. She is the most selfish woman I have ever met and I just can’t cope with her, it actually upsets me the way she treats us, Ive talked to my husband about it but he said its the way she is and just to ignore what she says and does but I find it so hard. She is very rude and ignorant. She has hurt my feelings a number of times and I’ve cried over her but she isn’t the type of woman u can sit down and speak to about anything, her daughters aren’t much better but they live away so I don’t have to put up with them that much but I just don’t know how much more of my mother in law I can take. Does anyone else have issues with their mother in law?
