chicken pox

Hi girls, Reilly has had chicken pox for just over a week now and all his spots are finally scabbing over and healing. I know hes no longer infectious but still dont want to take him out just in case!I know I always look at parents who take their spotty children out thinking should you be doing that?!

anyway just wondering who else has been there with their little ones and how long did you wait beforenyou took them out after having it?

  • Hi, I wouldn't worry about taking him out now especially if he is no longer infectious, my 3 year old had chicken pox last year followed 2 weeks later by Isaac and I had to take them out even when they were infectious as I had to take my other children to school (bad mummy lol)
  • Hi

I thought that once the blisters had popped they were no longer contagious. When my son had them I took him out to cheer him up, everybody has to get them once.
