omg the power struggles :-/
Hi moms,
my son just turned 4 and I am finding that we are starting to deal with power struggles. We are pretty good about letting him be independent, especially since he just started school and they are encouraging independence in the classroom. However we find it's a lot of "I dont want to" lately and whining about everything. Our latest struggle is brushing his teeth. We havent been able to brush them at all the last couple of days. I let him choose his brush and his own toothpaste (he likes the berry flavoured one) but nope, not happening. We are finding these little arguments happening all day and they are becoming more and more frequent, and more and more exhausting for us. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
