Where should baby sleep

we are expecting our first baby and I’ve been thinking a lot about sleeping arrangements, I’ve read a lot of things about how baby should be in our room for the first year but I was more thinking towardsngetting baby in their own room straight away, what age was everyone’s children when they went in their own room ?
