  • Since we got our dog, we feel as a family we have begun to do more things together.  It means we get more exercise too and all the benefits that come with that! We are actually much happier and somehow have far less arguments ( and having a teen that's definitely an achievement!😂)
  • We've had our dog since a puppy around 12 years ago, before having kids.  He's enriched our lives in so many ways, providing companionship and love.  He's just so sweet natured.

Our kids love him too, and is always happy to tell their school friends that they have a dog. Recently in my eldest daughter's school concert, my daughter stood up with a picture of our dog, and announced 'I have a dog called Chopstick!'
  • We have had our dog since he was a puppy and he is now 9. He is called Archie. Archie has enriched our lives in so many ways. He provides us with unconditional love on the good and bad days. He has grown with our children and is part of our family. We are so grateful for him as he is us. He supports us in connecting as a family in daily walks, playing ball in the garden or even the task of brushing him (he is a big German shepherd). Archie is a massive stress reliever for both adults and our children with his constant love, affection and cheeky personality. We just love him and appreciate him in so many ways. We will forever be indebted to him with the enrichment he brings to all of our lives 😀
  • My dogs enrich my life by being my biggest support, they are there through the good days and the bad, they never judge and they always put the biggest of smiles on my face!
  • My dog, Max, is everything to my partner and I. He has helped me through some dark days and forever will be my companion. Max brings so much happiness to our home and in our eyes is our son and not just a ‘dog’. Since welcoming our daughter, he has been protective of and is so loving towards her. I can’t wait to get home to see his waggy tail and happy dance. ❤️
  • Dogs love you endlessly. You are their life, and he is ours. My daughter loves him so much and he’s so gentle and loving to her
  • My dogs enrich my lives by being my companions, to share my love of nature and walking, bringing me joy, unbreakable love and humour!

My dog brings me and family much joy and enrichment. We get cuddles, unconditional love and fluffy ears.
  • Our dog was our first baby. When she turned one, we welcomed our daughter into the world and ever since the two have been inseparable. Family days aren’t complete unless it’s all four of us together. Sunday mornings are all four of us in bed together, weekends are full of walks in the woods, to the beach and dog-friendly cafe visits. Bailey has enriched our lives more than we could have ever imagined and now she is doing the same for our daughter 💕

Since getting a puppy when I was pregnant last year, he has enriched our family life immensely. Firstly, by walking him twice daily along with my baby, I've developed a healthy lifestyle and routine which I didn't used to have. Being outdoors allows us all to explore nature together. My pup also serves as such loyal companionship and his presence has a calming effect during stressful times, such as taking care of a newborn and my baby's developmental stage. I couldn't be without a dog.

  • I've always had dogs, from growing up at home to moving out and having my own family. From as many as 10 at a time to 3 that we have at home now. A Terrier Mix called Odie who is 15 years old, a Great Dane called Inca who is nearly 3 years old and Pepe, a chihuahua who is 7 months old.

If you ever need cheering up, the dogs do this and make us laugh every day! Making silly noises, play fighting with each other and strange sleeping positions they get in!

They also make sure that the whole family gets out and about for walks and taking care of them. We've been to lots of great different places because of them and spent hours together doing things. It's great for the kids to learn some responsibility and help with the feeding and general care.

It's so nice for any of our family of 5 to come home and get the unconditional love from our dogs, and see the happiness they have at us coming home after sometimes hard days. For the kids, you'll often find one snuggled up with them, giving them a bit of extra love and cuddles, which is amazing.

I can't imagine not having our dogs here to completely enrich all of our lives! ❤️❤️❤️🐕
  • Since we rescued our little dog 3 years ago, feels like She's been with us forever, she is loving, she cuddles you when you're feeling poorly, we do more things together as a family, family dog walks, going on dog friendly holidays, she is more than a dog to us she's family, she gets so excited when we come home, it's so lovely, she loves our girls, they play together, snuggle together and even sleep together, she was the best thing that came of 2020 lockdown and we wouldn't change anything fir the world.
  • We have a one year old Chorkie and a two year old son. I love that they growing up together as every child should experience having a pet. They are best buddies.
Our dog keeps me fit as I walk a lot with him on a daily basis. He is protective and gives us unconditional love.
  • Our Thor is a member of the family. He's nota pet. He came into our lives just when we lost my grandma and he filled our lives with so much joy. I was incredibly close to my grandma and the loss of her really hit me. Thor gave me purpose, got me out of bed, got me showered and out because I needed to walk him. I needed to look after him because he deserved a family who did everything for him so my grief wasn't the main focus to my everyday and every minute. I'm extremely grateful for him.
  • We had our dogs before our son and have to say they have got me through so much especially as my husband works away and since having our son they mean we always get out the house and about, we’ve been camping and hiking and he’s not even one yet, I don’t think we would have done that without having them, they are a big part of our family 🥰
  • Our dogs make us laugh all the time. The youngest dog is always bouncing about making us shout the rest of the family to come look and we play with them together and they’re always excited to see us. The dogs make us a family and we couldn’t be without them.
  • Bonnie was given to us at the beginning of Covid, a one year old whippet, she was no longer needed by her owner, and gave her to me because I was lonely, my husband being at home palliative care , I am his full time carer, Bonnie is a sensitive little soul, so gentle and loving, she loves  curling up along side my husband. If I am outside pegging washing out or sitting in the garden, if my husband shouts for me , precious little Bonnie comes running out to me to let me know I am needed. Bonnie has bought us so much joy, even on the most difficult days.

  • I had a a loving Staffy girl called Lexi l rescued 10 years ago who was my world but sadly died on the 26th Dec 2022 and l went into three weeks of painful mourning not having her greet me soon as l woke and she left a very big empty space l could not stop crying but l knew l had to keep that love continuing so l went the same dog rescue l got Lexi 10 years previous and rescued Ra Ra Rue who call Rudy who was even in the same cage l met Lexi 10 years previous. He is partly blind so the poor little chap is always bumping into things but he has given me back a purpose for living and the same bond of love l shared with Lexi. He is quiet energetic so gets me out walking and playing which l would never do if l didn't have him. He is constantly at my side so l never feel alone or lonely. He has healed my broken heart and l owe him everything for rescuing my mind body and soul from sorrow and although l miss Lexi everyday Rudy has helped me come to terms with Lexi's transition and be at peace in my life.
  • I had no idea when we got our dog Jarvis that walking him would also create opportunities to bond with my kids. I love heading off for a walk with our funny curious little fella and one of my kids for a heart to heart ❤! Quality time.
