Head Slapping

My boy who is nearly 14 months has for the last while been slapping his head with his hands sort of by his ears either side, We have been ignoring this behavoir. Why is he doing this, does not do it at childminder but seems to do it when daddy is around. He does spend a lot of time with daddy as I have recently had twins premature so for the last few months have not been able to play, bath etc due to being very big and pregnant. Babies are in special care at the moment and I spent a week in hospital with them. Is it an attention thing??!?!?!

  • It definately sounds like an attention seeking thing to me.

Have a word with you health visitor to see if they can suggest anything.

It's so difficult for them to understand when things change that they depend on.

Take care and I hope you get your lo sorted soon...xxx
