Car Sickness with a 13m old, help!!

Looking for any help or suggestions.
DD started being car sick anywhere further than 15mins away when she was 11m's old. I've looked in to seabands and they say they can be used from 2 and they need to be tight on the wrists, so i think hers will be too small. I'm making a dr's appointment to speak to them about it this week but i don't want to be medicating her every time we need to go further than 15mins.
I've tried feeding her between 30min - 2hrs before, and it doesn't make a difference. We have the windows open - and currently a towel wrapped round her to try and catch the sick!
any other suggestions?! xx
