Panic stations!!!

help please. 

I stopped BF my baby girl when she turned 1 in June. Since then I had one horrendous period start of August, was intimate with partner after forgetting to take pill. I haven't had a period since and my milk still hasn't dried up yet. 5 months since I stopped BF and I still have milk, surely this isn't right? 

Please advise me, I don't know wether this is normal or if I should be running to the pharmacy for a pregnancy test
