Any medical people around? Could I have a food allergy? My symptoms are itchy throat, tingly lips and shortness of breath. I've just eaten chocolate cake (it's my birthday, i don't usually start on the cake this early!!) I'm feeling very strange.
It could be. Best to get checked out asap especially if your becoming short of breath. Have you got a walk in centre around near you? I strong advice you get checked out even if they say its nothing and go home - don't take the risk xxx
If you've got any anti-histmaines (piriton, claritin, hayfever tablets etc) I'd suggest taking one to be on the safe side if it is an allergy - and yes, get it checked out too - and take the cake box if it's a bought one. Hope you feel better soon x
