Counting!

Er, my daughter can count! She's just gone 22 months and yesterday she started saying one, two, three...I thought she'd just heard it somewhere and was copying but when I asked her how many eyes she had, how many ears and noses etc she knew the right answer! I'm a bit baffled actually cos I've never tried to teach her how to count so how does she know?!! Either way I'm a very proud mummy! :lol:

Has anyone else's lo done something suprizing like that?!

    When I take Poppy up to bed, I've always counted the stairs as she walks up them but I was surprised the other week when she said 3 after my 2 then after 5, she said, 6,7 8!!
    It's amazing what they can pick up without you knowing it really isn't it?!
    She can't however tell you how many eyes she has etc but knows (& says!) if she has 2 biscuits in her hands!!
