1 year old...
Hi
im still fighting with my son who is one to eat food iv cut his bottle out during the day between 12 and 6 so we only give him milk in the morning and at night this is to try and encourage him to eat food instead of wanting his bottle all the time.
On an average day what does or did your 1 year olds eat throughout the day and when?

she has bottle of milk when she wakes
wont eat breakfast, so has a snack about 10am- normally fruit or a biscuit
lunch at 12- sandwich/toast, organix puffs, fruit flakes and a yoghurt
snack again at 2/3pm
tea at 5- cooked dinner and pudding- normally yoghurt, fruit pot, custard or mini milk ice lolly, she will normally have a slice of watermelon at 7pm and a bottle of milk at bedtime. xxx
anyway, normally this is his routine...
8.30am - 4-5oz milk
9.00am - weetabix/ready brek + toast/banana
12.00pm - sandwiches/scrambled egg on toast/beans on toast (90% of the time has sandwiches tho cuz they are easy to take out), organix snacks + yogurt
3.00pm - organix fruity bar/rice cake/fruit (if he goes to baby group he'll have loads of fruit and some milk) - sometimes if we're out we'll buy him some chocolate buttons
5.00pm - tea, usually meat or fish with plenty of veg, pasta or rice + yogurt
8.00pm - 5-6oz milk
throughout the day he'll drink about 6oz water/juice, the most he's ever taken is 10oz
Breakfast at 7.30/8 - cereal, waffles, toast or yoghurt etc all with fruit
Cup of milk at around 10
Small snack around 11.30 if he looks like he'll take a nap around then as he'll sleep through lunch
Lunch at 1 - sandwich, mini babybel, fruit flakes or yoghurt covered raisins, sometimes crisps
Snack at 3.30 - fruit
Dinner at 6 - whatever we're eating (cooked meal, heavily veg based as he won't eat veg without a cooked meal)
Sometimes has a small cup of milk before bed if it's been more than an hour since his dinner to make sure he's full enough
I can never work out if he eats a lot or not but he knows when he's full so I don't worry. But he's always been a great eater xx
