luke is coming up to his first birthday and i was just wondering what i should be changing at this stage? ?
how many naps and bottles (how much) do your l/o's have? do they still have their food mashed or should they be able to have chopped up food? at what age do they start to feed themselves?
lots of questions Surprised you'd never think this was my second would you! LOL!
thanx ladies ;\)

My lo is just turned 1 and he still has 2 naps in the day at the mo. Morning nap at 10.30am ish and afternoon nap at 3pm ish.
He still has 2 milk feeds, 1 morning and 1 night.
I usually chop his food up fairly small, he seems to manage ok but he's only got 6 teeth.
How many teeth do other people's lo's have?
I'm always wondering how other people do things. It's nice to compare notes just in case I'm doing things too early or too late.
I can't believe I'm on the toddler forum and not the baby 1.
Arrggghhhhhh. Where did the last year go?? lol

mine turned 1 and has since thrown every routine and bit of progress we were making out of the window in favour of not wanting to go into bed and only eating sausages, cheese, weetabix, yoghurt and bananas.
We give him a couple of bottles a day and always have a beaker of water for him to sip at whenever he wants to.
So all I can say is (and I may well be alone in this one) hold on to your hat and just move at a pace that you can both manage.
We have found that giving him something to dip his food in encourages him a little, but unfortunately it's mainly to feed it to the dogs.

luke has 6 teeth in the strangest places!! has bottom 2 middle teeth, then his canines on the top and bottom! (still no top 2 middle teeth!!) weird!
my thoughts at the min are to get him a nap morning and afternoon then just see with his bottles as i think he's losing interest in the daytime ones anyway, so probably end up with one morning and night.
has anyone weaned off the bottle onto a sippy cup? coz he'll drink his juice fine from it but doesn't like the idea of milk in it, so i for see some problems!!
