I was wondering when you can tell if your child is left or right handed?
My baby is only 10 weeks, she has recently started to put her hands out to explore things and particulary this morning spent ages batting and grabbing the toys hanging above her playmat. So far she is using her left hand alot.
I could just be an eagle eyed teacher spotting something that will have no relevance as she grows up but was wondering about other peoples experiences and knowledge.

My little boy (18 months) has always favoured his left hand. Because I am right handed I automatically put things in his right hand but he always swaps straight over. He kicks the ball with his left foot too. We has loads of lefties in both sides of our families so he probally is, but your not supposed to be able to tell for definate until there about 3.
