  • Hi, im afraid I can't offer you any direct experience as my boys are the opposite won't stop talking. However I had a friend who's little girl was exactly the same, it was complete shyness she would only speak in environments where she felt 100% safe and comfortable. basically just at home and only with mummy and daddy. She is still very shy now and doesn't like talking in front of people. I think it sounds as af your little boy is more shy than unable to speak?
  • hi, firstly welcome to pp!!
cant offer any personal advice i'm afraid but i think if he's fine in all other aspects of his development then it must be shyness, some children do get it quite bad. hope you get to the bottom of it soon x
