saliva fertility monitor

has anyone else tried using one of these. Mine is made by baby smart, it only cost ??6.99 and you keep re-using it so it is a lot less expensive then buying the usual POAS ones.
So far i had the fern pattern yesterday so i'm justing waiting now to see if that tally's up.
The problem is i have irregular periods, which makes things a little more complicated.

    How does this actually work?

well the instructions say that as your hormones change during your cycle it can be noticed in your saliva. you place a sample of your saliva on the microscope and depending on what pattern it forms denotes what level of fertility you are at.
