Did you have a nice day? We went to the local garden centre for a wander with a friend.. Then went to view care homes for my grandad... We found a nice one, so we're now waiting for them to call to confirm a place for him...

We did absolutely nothing today just stayed which was nice coz we are usually out & about. We were supposed to go to mothers & toddlers but Zara fell asleep & Amy started colouring in so we gave it a miss. I might head in to town tomorrow though, see what I feel like in the morning.

You should get your hubby to hide those tests to stop you getting tempted again!!!! If hes anything like my hubby you'd find them in the sock drawer or the back of his wardrobe!!!!!!
I feel a bit crampy today. I dont know whether or not its af on its way or whether (youre going to laugh when I say this!!) ovulation!!!! I know I keep saying that I think I might be ov but I think the truth is I just dont know coz I havent been testing for t this month. Might bd tonight though on the off chance!!!!!!

Hi Hilary - How did Zara sleep? Saul woke at 9pm and I couldn't console him, so brought him downstairs... He fell asleep within 15 minutes and then slept right through to 6.30am... Not bad...
I can tell this week will be one of those weeks - Firstly being told my Grandad is terminal... Last night we had a phonecall, DH's friend was killed in Afghanistan!!! What a night - he couldn't sleep, was so upset (obviously)... What else is going to happen - they say things come in 3's!!!!
On a brighter note, i'm collecting Saul's photo's today (the ones I had taken 2 weeks ago with the big scratch on his face!!!) Can't wait to see them...

That was brilliant how Saul slept for you last night. We dont put our 2 down til 9.30pm though we let Zara have a nap downstairs from 8.15 - 8.45 so as she doesnt fall asleep during her bottle. The wee monkey woke up this morning chattering to the wee bird on her kick & play piano at 7am but she feel asleep again & didnt waken til her normal thankgoodness. Shes turned into such a wee chatterbox over the past week you'd stuggle to get a word in edgeways!!!
I'm sure youre looking forwards to getting your photos of Saul today. Let me know how they turn out
I woke up this morning feeling really crampy as if af is on her way so I doubt it'll be another month of trying for us!!!! I know I didnt really expect to fall pg in our 1st month of trying but I was going to test on the 1st & its Marks birthday on the 5th & I thought it would be a nice birthday present to tell him.
You should take some of your own advise!!! Its not over until af arrives!!! Be positive.. It would be a great birthday present for Mark - Shaun's birthday is on the 10th, so would be a nice present for for him if we did it this month too!!!
Saul's photo's are absolutely gorgeous (I am biased)... I brought them straight home and put them in the frames i'd already bought... Can't wait to get them up on the wall...

Right - thats it... I'm not testing again this month... BFN!!!!!!! I can safely say that I did all my bding on the wrong days and the ov sticks were just damn evil by telling me I was ovulating and I wasn't!!!!

I was thinking of doing what I done when we concieved Zara which was bd every 3rd day from af ends til either af arrives or I get a bfp. It was what my Dr advised. I also have some clomid left from when ttc Zara & I know I shouldnt but I'm soooo tempted to take it. Would that be really silly???

Still no sign of af so I doubt my cycles are going to be all over the place again for a while. I got clomid from the Dr the last time coz my cycles didnt settle after coming off the pill 6 months previous. As far as I know the only place ypu can get clomid is through your Dr but from what I'vr read o here alot of people have to go to specialists before they get prescribed it.
Aparently when you bd every 3rd day it means there is always sperm present in your system waiting for the egg to be released so you are really only topping up with fresh sperm every 3rd day. My dr told me that by waiting & bding every 3rd day that the sperm is a better quality than if you bd more frequently. I dont know how true that is but it did work for us the last time so I'm tempted to just try it that way for a few months & see. I'm still in 2 minds about ov sticks. I might just wait for a couple of months & if there is still nothing I'll get them then. I couldnt believe how much the clearblue ones cost!!!!!
