BUYING CLOMID ONLINE

Hi guys. This is my first post and i need some help.
We have been trying for years and the next step is clomid but coz my BMI is not ideal they will not prescribe it to me.
Were willing to buy it ourselves and wondered if anyone else had done the same? I'm not looking for people to nag to me about the dangers. It's our only hope and not a decision taken lightly. What i need is a website that someone can recommend where we can get it from??

  • Hey,
Have you tried googling it? the only thing I would say is make sure you use a reputable website.
Does BMI mean body mass index? did the doctor tell you how much weight you needed to loose? Just thinking from your health point of view that maybe it would be safer for you and a baby if you did what the doctor reccommended. I'm in no way judging you by your descion so please don't think that as believe me I know how it feels to be desperate to be pregnant and have a baby, but surely it would be safer to loose the weight and have a happy healthy pregnancy even if it takes a little longer.

I hope you do what is best for you in the end cos at the end of the day it is your choice and no one elses.

  • Caz thank you for not judging. Ive got pcos and so struggle with my weight too. I'm not obese or anything i would say im average by todays standards. But the rules are that you have to be withing certain BMI to get a prescription for it. BMI is body mass index.
Im so tired of seeing people my weight which is about 12 and a half stone pregnant and i'm not allowed the opportunity, which is why we are looking to buy it. I have already lost a lot of weight and exercise regulary but i am struggling. The NHS just won't even consider me for clomid.
Im definetly looking for a reccomendation if possible. I have done lots of research - 6 months worth-
i know that even the people who sell dodgy stuff instead of the real deal- it isnt dangerous its just baking pwder normally so they can rip you off. So the main worry is not being ripped off. We are so desperate and running out of time.
Big thank you for replying back to me and not judging me.
    Best wishes!!!
  • Have you thought of Agnus Castus or Red Clover? They are herbal remedies. Or visit a chinese doctor for a herbal tea or something that could make you ovulate.
Just a thought! I am a fellow PCOS sufferer!

  • Hey Hun, I Know a few people that have took this and they think it has done wonders and all 3 that have tooken it have babies now and swear by this.
so i think you should give it ago, I will do the same if not pregnant by April. I will get the website now what to order from Kerrie
  • hi hun i totally empathise with you i really do but please be careful when buying this i am a nurse and even i think gps go over the top sometimes and i dont know the reasons behind your gp advice but i would be realy careful. have you asked why you have to be a certain bmi? 12 stone really isnt that terrible so i am surprised but here must be a reason for it? just thinking of your health? x
  • THANK YOU for replying to me.Im so happy to see some help for once!!! the specialist is the one that will not give it to you if you are not withing the ideal bmi. Im not huge or anything and just want a chance.
Em, thank you for the link and Kez i cant wait to hear which site they got it from.I promise i will be careful. xxxx
  • Hey again,

I don't understand how they can class 12 stone as big, unless you are like 4 foot 5. I was 11 and a half stone before I got preggo and I'm now just over 12 and my doctor was quite willing to help us as we were struggling to get pg.
Could you ask for a second opinion? or get refferred to a different specialist?

  • I am 5"4 and chubby - size 16.Still working hard at exercise and toning up.They must be stricter in our area or postcode lottery thing???this is why im going to have to find a website to buy my own. xxxx
  • Hmmm I'm a size 16 too and 5"6 and I'm very squigy around the edges lol. I can completely understand why you would want to buy your own and you must do what is best for you and your hubby just please make sure you look after yourself and don't take anything that could damage you rather than benefit.

  • I have even told my doctor that i will resort to this if they don't help me.Although he doesnt condone it, he knows at least and when i start taking it i will be having regular check ups. I will be careful.Won't buy it from anywhere until i get more info.Thanx for replying again!!!
  • No Problem hun, well I wish you all the best of luck and I hope it helps you get what you want.

I was going to say take regular check ups if you are going to do it as then at least the dr can monitor your health and bp etc. If I'm honest I would probably buy it online if we hadn't off concieved when we did as although the doctors was very helpful neither me nor hubby were keen on having lots of tests.

  • I think it's good that you've been honest with your GP that you will be taking it. At least they can offer regular health checks. I'm not sure you have an answer to this but did the consultant tell you why you have to be within a certain weight range to be prescribed it? Often it is for safety reasons or maybe it is less likely to be effective. Of course it could just be that they only do things in certain orders so they would expect to address the weight issue to see if this resolves the problem before taking medical action.

If you are 5'4" and 12 and a half stone then your BMI is just on the cusp between overweight and obese actually. I know that it your weight doesn't sound excessive but they look at things from a more technical point of view.

I don't know much about clomid - is it not officially prescription only? I know you can buy anything online but again it's often about our safety. I'm not judging but you need to be clear on the risks. You desperately want a baby but surely not at the cost of your health?
  • The rules are that they just will not give it to me because my bmi isn't in the ideal range. Its nothing to do with it being dangerous if you are over weight.
PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS EVER BOUGHT CLOMID ONLINE, PLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE HELP ME. I WILL LEAVE MY EMAIL ADRESS IF YOU DONT WANT TO SAY WHERE FROM ON HERE. xxxx
  • hi Mrs Penguin
just wanted to say good luck with whatever you decide. sounds like you've done a good bit of research on clomid so you're not going into this blind.
i've been trying for 1 year and just made an appointment do see the doc on tues. do you mind me asking what happened at you 1st appointment cos i am really apprehensive - just want answers and to check everything is ok but also want to know what the doc does when you are there?
good luck and i hope it all works out for you

  • Sammie i am going to eamil you now.Thank you so much.

Wannabemummy.I have done so much research. I will ONLY take a personal recomendation.
Because i have pcos i dont know if it will be smae for you.The doctor referred me to a specialist at our local hospital which when i got there had lots of pregnant ladies sat around which made me feel 100 times worse!!! I went into the room and the doctor talked with us and did an examination he already had my ultrasound scan results. He said that they would not consider us as i am not in the ideal BMI range.I know a friend of ours is and they wanted a sample of semen from her partner.Don't be scared to ask your doc what to expect. I hope it goes well for you and you get a baby. We're in the same boat. Most people will never understand the longing and the heartbreak but a few of us here do. Take care honey and fingers croseed for you. xxxxx
  • thanx for the advice mrs penguin
same to you hope everything goes well and you get a little one soon. keep us updated as i'm sure a lot of girls here want to follow in your journey xx
  • I will only start on the clomid July onwards depending on when a period arrives as i have pcos.. I still want to work at getting my body in good condition and taking all the right supplements first. I am going to have a full medical privately too. Thank you and i'll let you know how i get on when we start on the clomid. Lots of luck to you and sending lots of sticky baby dust!!! xxxxx
  • Hi Mrs_penguin,

I have PCOS and am also 5ft 4inch and a size 14. My BMI is OK not briliant, but i have been told that i should start clomid in March. I think you should ask again and argue that BMI is not the only thing they should look at. I don't think you can buy Clomid as it is a fertility drug and it is perscription only.

Have you taken Metformin as this often helps with reducing sugar level and heloping weight loss. You should also try reflexology and accpunture as this can help regulate the cycle for PCOS suffers.

    Good luck

    Jo x
