Can you take the contraceptive Pill and Folic Acid supplements together? I'm not going to ttc until September but want to start taking the folic acid soon, will it affect the pill?

    hiya. i started mine last month before i finished the pill. i actually felt better for taking them. it does say on the back of the pack to start taking 3 months before ttc if you can.xx

    I started taking folic acid before coming off pill too. GP advised me to as you should start taking it 3 months before ttc ideally as it takes a while to get in your system. x

    My GP advised me not to take it until I had stopped taking the pill! Funny how they think different? I don't think it will harm anything and is probably personal choice!
