Well we havent got anything planned for the weekend. Mum and dad went to Alaska this morning so we already celebrated fathers day last friday. So apart from lots and lots of bding nothing planned.

Hi girls, well started my opk this morning and didnt get a smiley face although i had been for a pee 2 hours before and i noticed on the instructions it said do it when you havent peed for at least 4 hours. 4 HOURS well im sorry but there is no way i can hold it that long. I suppose i should have done it with fmu but i had that at 6am and i woke up busting so dont think i would have been able to hold onto it long enough for me to get the test sorted out! haha I also looked at te instructions on the other opk i got with my preseed and it said to not use fmu? Temp hasnt risen yet either although isnt it supposed to rise after you have ov'd? I did however get some ewcm this morning and it was quite stretchy, which i didnt really see on my previous cycle so maybe i didnt ov last cycle? Maybe the reflexology i had has sorted me out a little bit? Fingers crossed Well we will be bding tonight anyway just in case i do ov later. Are you working from home today BOB? Do you know whereabouts you are in your cycle?

So jay you are not supposed to use fmu, the best time for opk's is afternoon to early evening as this is when your hormone starts to rise and the 4hr thing is a load of rubbish, you don't need to wait 4 hours. If you're getting ewcm then you should get your smiley soon, and then you ov within 12-36 hrs of a +ve opk. Your temperature only rises AFTER you've ov'd so you'll get the ewcm first, then a smiley and then a couple of days later your temp should rise but you need to make sure it stays high for 3 days to make sure you've ov'd but to be honest if you've had your smiley and then see a significant rise 2 days later you know you've ov'd already. DH and I usually stop bding once I see the rise.
I don't know where I am on my cycle - did another hpt last night - bfn. My (.)(.) are getting sorer though and I had some strange cramps yesterday - probably just hunger pains . I would think I am about 10 or 11 dpo today although I ov'd late (just a guess though due to the ewcm as as you know haven't been testing with opk's or doing temps this month) - who knows! If af doesn't show by Sunday I'll do one with fmu.
So Frecks maybe they got low on cash do you think? Maybe that's why they decided to do the BBQ thing.

Well DH and I have planned to do the gardenig providing the weather is ok. Im hoping its gonna rain as i absolutely detest gardening but its got to be done. Then maybe Sunday we;ll go to the cinema to watch a film. So not a lot really apart from bding loads and loads! haha Its my nans birthday today and so i popped to see her to give her her card and present. My cousin was down there with his new girlfriend (well i say new i think theyve been together a few months) anyway he announced tonight that she was 6 months pregnant (which i could kind of tell anyway). Although i already knew as when i went to see my other cousin last saturday she told me that he had got his girlfriend pregnant but she is only 15! OMG he can soooo get into trouble because shes under age. Of course i had to play dumb and pretend i didnt know about it. Both his brothers have got loads of kids too. One of my cousins has got 11 kids by about 4-5 different mothers although as far as the rest of the family are concerned hes only supposed to have 8! I just cant keep up sometimes. Its like living the jeremy kye show sometimes! hahahhahahahah

OK girls time for a St Olaf story - ok maybe not a St Olaf one but a story for you anyway Once upon a time there were 3 lovely ladies who were all on a journey together heading for their ultimate dreams, all of which were the same. They came across many bumps in the road and even blew a couple of tyres on their Mercedes SLK but because they were all together were able to repair these tyres by working together and supporting each other. Even if one wanted to stop the journey the others were still there for her (but secretly hoping and praying that she wouldnt as without her it wouldnt be the same). I mean who else would we need to stop on the side of the road for pee breaks for aye?? The journey is still going on and the girls are all still there for each other, cheering each other up and knowing that one day their journey will end happily with their dreams being acheived. And even after they have all acheived their dreams they will always remember that they have all made friends for life. )

Well had my appointment with the docs and we just went through average cycle lengths, have i ever had any infections down there, am i extra hairy. Well i nearly pissed myself laughing when she asked that question, although i think they have to ask that for signs of pcos. So ive got to go back in a week for day 21 bloods and then go back a week after that for the results along with an internal exam etc oooo gross but these things have to be done i suppose. She said i can have alcohol as long as it doesnt exceed 14 units. Im guessing thats 14 in 2 weeks because i mentioned about the 2ww bit and that i did have a few drinks every now and then in the 2ww! So at least im now getting somewhere and seem to be moving forward. DH has got to take a SA specimin in aswell. mm nice! haha I took my temping charts etc with me but didnt really need them. She said its very difficult to tell with temping charts and to just go by the bloods that im going to have done. I must say looking back i think i got more info from the nurse than i did the doctor about what to check for etc (ewcm). The doctor even said that the normal amount of time to get pg is 2 years! WTF I must say i am glad that she is doing the bloods now and not making me wait another year. I think i would have gone nuts!!

Sorry jay - of course we haven't! Got home late from work last night and was exhausted having sat on the highway at a standstill for 30 mins in 105 degree sun!!!!! There was a car accident that shut 3 lanes of the busiest highway down to one lane at rush hour! I had a huge glass of wine when I got in, then didn't get up of the couch! In 105 the air con in the car is really not very effective!

I find the doc's to be particularly useless in advising about when to BD! Mine said oh just do it a couple of times a week - right, that'll work - not. So that's when I took it into my own hands with the opk's, temp's, smep and pre-seed and hey presto pg. I don't think anyone who has had trouble ttc really understands how timing is everything and that the conditions need to be just right! What is that whole thing about 14 units? I would say they were talking about a week, I think that is normal for women. Which would be about 7 large glasses of wine a week.
So I am feeling a little better today, af arrived in full force yesterday afternoon after 3.5 days of spotting so not pg - at least the doc will be happy. I go for blood work again today and then I now have my sono-histogram booked for next Thursday - should be fun! At least then I'll know if anything is up with me for sure as the mixed connective tissue disease shouldn't really be an issue and even then they are not convinced I actually have that as the last lot of blood showed another problem with my blood. I just wish my bean would stick!
Frecks how's your opk's and temp doing? I looked at your chart but didn't see you temp for today - I would think you'll ov soon too right?

Sorry Jay for not getting back sooner. I have had so much on at the moment. Work is winding down for the teaching year and I have about a million and one jobs to do. Charting and temping going much better this month but OV is playing games with me. The latest I have ov'd is cd15/16 over the last 4 months with usually a few highs before the peak but I am still getting lows today and it's CD14. Have had no EWCM whatsoever which is really weird. I will explode if I don't ov this month. Temps are still very low.

Just been listening to the footie and sounds as though won our game but the USA also won so they are top of the group now. I took my temping charts etc with me but didnt really need them. She said its very difficult to tell with temping charts and to just go by the bloods that im going to have done.
I must say looking back i think i got more info from the nurse than i did the doctor about what to check for etc (ewcm). The doctor even said that the normal amount of time to get pg is 2 years! WTF I must say i am glad that she is doing the bloods now and not making me wait another year. I think i would have gone nuts!!

I find the doc's to be particularly useless in advising about when to BD! Mine said oh just do it a couple of times a week - right, that'll work - not. So that's when I took it into my own hands with the opk's, temp's, smep and pre-seed and hey presto pg. I don't think anyone who has had trouble ttc really understands how timing is everything and that the conditions need to be just right! What is that whole thing about 14 units? I would say they were talking about a week, I think that is normal for women. Which would be about 7 large glasses of wine a week.
So I am feeling a little better today, af arrived in full force yesterday afternoon after 3.5 days of spotting so not pg - at least the doc will be happy. I go for blood work again today and then I now have my sono-histogram booked for next Thursday - should be fun! At least then I'll know if anything is up with me for sure as the mixed connective tissue disease shouldn't really be an issue and even then they are not convinced I actually have that as the last lot of blood showed another problem with my blood. I just wish my bean would stick!
Frecks how's your opk's and temp doing? I looked at your chart but didn't see you temp for today - I would think you'll ov soon too right?
I'm on CD2 today so 2w behind you both now - dooh!
Sorry Jay for not getting back sooner. I have had so much on at the moment. Work is winding down for the teaching year and I have about a million and one jobs to do.
I thought your story was lovely and it would be brill if we could keep in touch no matter what happens. I would dearly love you both to get your BFPs but in a selfish way I would be so sad to see you go!
Good news about the doc Jay....bet OH is looking forward to the sample giving. At least the doc is moving things along and not making you hang about. If we don't get lucky by August I am defo starting the ball rolling. 2 YEARS......no way Jos????. I ain't waiting that long
Bob....I'm glad in a way that AF turned up and put you out of the misery of not knowing. I really hope they get those tests sorted quickly and find out what is going on with your bloods.
Thought it was funny about the 14 units alcohol.....think I drink that at the wedding last wkd alone! To be honest I think if I stressed myself out about having a glass of wine in 2ww I would go mad
Charting and temping going much better this month but OV is playing games with me. The latest I have ov'd is cd15/16 over the last 4 months with usually a few highs before the peak but I am still getting lows today and it's CD14. Have had no EWCM whatsoever which is really weird. I will explode if I don't ov this month. Temps are still very low.
Well girls...I'm off to reflexology tonight. She specialises in fertility so hopefully she might be able to swing things my way. Will let you know how it goes

Weirdly i havent had a smiley face yet! i thought i would have had it by now or today at the latest. Maybe im going to OV late because my temps havent risen yet either, although i did have a rise on saturday to 97.78 but i think that was because i took it later on in the morning and i had been drinking the night before. Plus i had gotten up earlier to go for a pee. So dont think i OV'd saturday. Well will see what it comes up with tomorrow i guess.
So CD2 for you then hun! urgh crap well at least the dcotor will be pleased with you for not getting pg not that its any consolation though!

Glad you liked the story xx I was watching the GGs again last night and it was one from the very first season and Sophia said "Anger is like shredded wheat", the only trouble is i cant remember what the rest of it was. Guess i will have to watch that episode again tonight and let you know either later or tomorrow what the outcome of the story/advice is! haha
