CBFM users - Bring on the peaks!!
Well I thought we could probably use a new thread as the last one was getting quite long. Two lucky ladies with BFP's on the last one, congratulations to muppet and kishha!

Muppet- good luck for your early scan. How exciting. How did you wangle one of those? I didn't think you got them easily at all.
Mrs M I have had the injections and if they don't let me have them this time I will just suffer the anaemia till I can get a second opinion. I just can't take how ill the tablets make me. I have IBS (nowhere near like you) anyway so this makes it 100 times worse. My tum gets so huge I can't fasten any of my trousers and I feel sick as a dog. No way. I have tried them now about 10 times and have to stop every time. I wonder how I can convince him.
I don't know my testing date till OV comes along. Ho Hum xXx

How are you feeling muppet?
Gizmoo, Pozzee, Kaylz and Cupcake I hope you are all ok
xx
MrsM what a rude man that customer was, I'd have refused to serve him, it amazes me the number of people missing the tact brain cells. Hope you enjoyed your day off.
Emmie and mrsM I feel for you with anemia the symptoms are horrible. We get quite a lot of patients with anemia mostly due to them having a bleed somewhere, they are usually transfused and once their iron levels are back up they are like new people, less breathless and loads of energy ready for me to put the through their paces. MrsM I not lie the idea of falling asleep on the m62, horrible motorway.
Muppet, good to hear from you, hope all is going well and how exciting having a scan soon. don't worry about no symptoms, it's good not to have sickness. I had no symptoms first time round. At the moment I have sore boobs and I'm bloated today, I was really tired at the weekend that's why I tested. I have one last pg test in the drawer I'll do another in a few weeks.
Cupcake, gizmoo, kaylz and pozzee I hope you are all well.

I replied on the old thread doh! So I attempted a cut and paste not sure how well it's worked.......
Kishha glad to see the cbfm helped you. I hope I at least see a peak next cycle.
Well since I haven't seen hubs since Sunday I just jumped on him sorry had to share! He fell asleep instantly after bless him, he's doing lots of overtime while he can get it so is knackered.
Is everyone having nice evenings?

See below...
Morning ladies,
Sorry I haven't been round in a couple of weeks, and thank you so much for the well wishes. I apologise now for my ignorance, I haven't been able to catch up with the 144 posts I've missed
Hello to any newcomers, I hope you are all doing well, and congratulations to anyone who has got their BFP...fabulous news!!
Things haven't been too great on our front, we had our specialist appointment and I was told that I need to get my BMI down to 35 (which is fair enough, I already had a good idea they were going to say that). But unfortunately we were also told that due to his orcadectomy (apologies for the spelling) my OH's count was not very good so we are definitely going to need fertility treatment in some form to conceive likely to be either IUI or IVF. So we've both been having lots more tests done and our next appt is in September when I'm hoping they will be able to see a marked difference in my weight and will explain in more detail the options available. It's so frustrating that a major problem I have inherited with PCOS is weight gain so loosing it is difficult but I'm at the gym 4-5 times a week and doing Zumba and eating fruit in the bucketload so hopefully it will start to shift.
I was told that the CBFM will be a complete waste of time due to my PCOS as my bloods have always read a high LH level and its this that the CBFM monitors so it won't pick up anything of any use (which I why my first cycle picked up 20 highs and no peak). So as frustrating as it is it has gone into a cupboard and I've decided that I might give it one other go when I've lost a couple of stone to see if there has been any difference, but won't hold my breath.
Sorry I couldn't post more positive news, it has taken a couple of weeks for it all to sink in and now we just need to prepare moving forward.
I hope you are all doing well ladies, I'll try and get on here more often but I really do apologise if I've missed any big news.

Well I had a temp rise yesterday and another small one today so I think I have finally ov'd, yay! don't think there is much chance of being pg though, boo. We'll have to wait and see. I thiought I would have been doing a pg test this morning as I have sore boobies but I held off!

I've been TTC for 12 months now but only used the CBFM for 8 of those. I've had my 21 day bloods done which all came back ok, DH is waiting for an appointment for his SA.
Kishha congrats on the BFP, I hope I am as lucky as you this month because I got my first 'peak' really early this month too on CD11 when it is normally CD19!! Hope its a good sign....
Cupcake hope the doctor's move things along for you quickly and you get the treatment and help for you BFP.
AF/testing date is 23rd/24th August - sending you all lots of babydust, hope this is a lucky thread x
I somehow ended up having a glance in the baby section in Next while I was out shopping. Some of the little outfits are soooooo cute!
xx
Aww cupcake. You do sound a bit low (understandably). That's really rotten for you but it sounds like the hospital intend to help you to get that BFP. Don't feel alone about your weight loss- there are a few of us ladies on a mission to do the same so you'll have plenty of support if you want it. And, don't dispair about the CBFM being rendered useless either- my GP doesn't believe in them anyway. One of my posts was saying how he's told me to ditch it and get on with BDing more regularly. He has sussed out that I only BD on my OV days and furthermore only to get pregnant and he has told me to 'do it' more often and for fun. I'm still using mine to inform me of my cycles though. Even if you pack yours in the cupboard do keep on posting
Mrs M I'm glad you finally got your OV even if the sore boobies is bad. I get sore boobies and it's not fun. Fingers crossed for you on testing day chicken.
Hi again Loopy- welcome to the thread. So far it has been quite a lucky one. There have been 2 BFPs this month.
I have no idea when my testing date will be- early September sometime but will have to confirm that once I have peaked.
Is everyone having a nice day?
xx
Hi MrsM87 I'm glad I've not the only one who looks at
baby things in Next I spent my lunch hour looking at all the nursery things the other day. I'd love to buy some of the clothes too so cute and small but I keep thinking I'll jinx myself if I purchase anything before I get my BFP - so I've resisted the urge.
Can't wait to go and buy a couple of things when I do eventually see those two lines x
