on chlomid and periods have stopped

hi need a little advice if anyone has any.

Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for 5 years, i got diagnosed with PCOS a few years back. my doctor finally gave me chlomid a couple of months ago but the first cycle didn't work but it did make my period more normal (lasting for 5 days and being very heavy), my doctor only gave me 1 month supply though to see how i got on then said to come back and get more, so i went back and he gave me 3 months supply, my first period with the 3 month lot of tabs was 15 days late and only lasted for 3 days and ive not had one since that was nearly 2 months ago im defo not preg.

so i guess im asking if you think the doctor has messed with my cycle by not giving me 3 months to start with.....
