  • Hi Mandy,

Abbreviations are commonly used throughout parenting websites, if unsure about any then you can normally ask the original poster (OP) what they mean as everyone is very friendly.  There is a page on here somewhere about "abbreviations for newbies" but some of the more common ones are -

AF - Aunt Flo (nickname for your period/may also see "the witch")

    TTC - Trying To Conceive

LTTC - Longterm Trying To Conceive

    DTD/BD - Sexual Intercourse

    DH - Dearest/Darling Husband

    DS - Dearest/Darling Son

    DD - Dearest/Darling Daughter

    OH - Other Half

VBAC - Vaginal Birth After Caesarian

    DPO - Days Past Ovulation

2WW - Two Weeks Wait Before Testing

    HPT - Home Pregnancy Test

    BFP - Big Fat Positive

    BFN - Big Fat Negative

HTH - Hope This Helps image

  • That's great, thank you very much, great help for the aged and out of touch lol
