Can you ONLY get pregnant during ovulation?

I always thought you could fall pregnant on any day of the month but I've been nosying around this website for a fortnight and I got the general impression that it has to be during ovulation? Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks ladies image Xxx

  • Ovulation is the only time of the month you release an egg, you can release more than one egg but only during ovulation. You might not always ovulate at the same time each month but you will only get pregnant when you release an egg.
  • Yes. Only before ovulation. You get a window of about 4 days to conceive. Once the egg's ovulated, you're too late.

See 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' book (about £12, well worth it) or FertilityFriend.com.
