implantation or light period

Hi ,

me & my husband really want a baby so very bad 😊 I have be having pregnancy type symptoms for about a week I don't usually get my period early I always  get it on the 26 or later I last had it Nov,26,2014 I started spotting on Dec,24,2014 no pad needed then later that night I needed a pad but didn't really show much and on Christmas I filled pad then next day filled pad then on 27th light pinkish redish then 28th it was so light it turned light pink to light brown to gone I'm not sure what this means I don't want to give my hopes up by taking a test
