***Monday TTC***

Morning all, how're we all doing today? I'm working from home today as have my operation pre-assessment this afternoon. Nothing much to report, CD24, 8DPO, due to my later than usual ov, I'm heading for a longer cycle this month. Still got the unusual cramping though.

Hello to all who follow, will be back on later.

  • Hey tayto - Good luck with your pre op later:) wonder what the strange cramping is?

Afm 4dpo temp went to 36.37 so bit of a drop today but still way avove my cover line. Already sympotom spotting and googling haha oh dear going to be a long ttw

  • Morning

Tayto - good luck with pre op. When did the cramping start?

CC - good luck with the 2ww!

AFM CD38 & still nothing, arghhhhhhhh! No pos opk, no af & no bfp. Wish my body would just sort itself out!!

  • Cooper -Sorry to hear that you havent had a positive opk.. would it be worth a trip to the GP? See whats going on?

  • Ive been thinking that but not sure they'd do anything?

  • Not sure but maybe some blood test''s see what's going on?

  • Yeh maybe - might try & get an appt for Fri

  • Sounds good :) Hope you can get an appointment.. Not sure what they can do but always worth a visit :)

  • Thanks :) ive hijacked todays ttc thread!

  • Haha don't be silly :)!

  • Wonder where everyone else is today?

  • It is fairly quiet in here today!

CC - does ttw mean terrible two weeks?! hehe, I know you mean tww :-) Hope it goes by quickly for you & with a nice big BFP!

Cooper - I'd agree with CC, no harm in chatting to the doc on it anyway - you never know what they can do to help x

AFM - my cramping started even before I ov'ed (according to H as he has a distinct memory of me complaining!) so not sure what it could be. If I still have it after AF, I'll go get checked out. Wanna change my GP first though - really dislike my current one & don't want to change because of the knee op coming up,

  • Haha yes terrible two weeks sounds much better lol!

Oh no idea what the cramping is but yes get to the gp once you change your GP :)

  • Tayto - hope the preop went well.

Cooper - I agree with the others, have a chat with the dr, that's what they are there for.

CC - uh oh for the googling already!

AFM - 6dpo. Not a lot to report except I had a gallstone attack lasting 2.5hr yesterday then another 2 since then. So just been back to dr, and they are going to decide whether it should be referred on to the specialists on weds. At least my brain hasn't had time to go into overdrive about the 2ww because if that yet though.

  • Evening all. Can't get on at work unless I work from home which isn't that often - but it is quiet in here!

Tayto - hope the preop went ok, hope you get some answers re the cramping

Cooper - I would make an appointment too, hopefully they'll be able to point you in the right direction

CC - hope the 2ww goes by as quickly as possible! Hope it ends with a BFP :-)

sapphire - ouch, sounds painful! Have they put you on any meds or anything?

AFM - CD17. Husband and I tried to BD yesterday and today but my husband couldn't, er, perform. Today is the fourth time this has happened - not all of them in this cycle btw - and he's getting really down. I'm being supportive because I know he wants to perform and it's him making the move on me rather than the other way round ... but as much as I'm supportive I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also frustrated too. He is definitely putting himself under pressure and beating himself up about it which is not great either. Does anyone have any experience in this area? I know he's not the first and certainly won't be the last man to experience this but I hate that he feels, in his words, so humiliated.

  • Enjayee - sorry I have no experience, so no words of wisdom to help sorry. I can't imagine what pressure our guys must put themselves through. As for the gallstone attacks, just paracetamol - she also prescribed me some codeine just in case the paracetamol isn't having any effect and I've got some at home ready.

  • Sapphire - Sorry to hear about your gallstone attack :( Fingers crossed they refer you :)

Enjayee.. Sorry to hear that your husband couldn't preform... I have no experience of it but I can imagine the pressure we put on guys to preform as and when we need to gets on top of them.
