    Hi cc

welcome to made for mums. its great here and the ladies are all lovely and so very supportive.

I'm sio39 though that name was picked last year when I was 39 lol. hit the big 40 in January. I'm ttc my first. it took me till 37 to find the right man to have kids with. I got pregnant in february after coming off the pill in November but unfortunately I had a mc at the end of march, so we are trying again now.  hope all goes well for you

Hello I've followed CC over from mumdrum.

I'm PurpleStar, married since Oct and have 1 daughter who born 8 weeks premature in July 2014.

I have very irregular cycles and took 14 months to conceive.  We have been NTNP since she was born but no sign of #2 yet.

Hi cc, nice to have you here.

I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages so very late - heartbreaking, absolutely gutting.

About me - i have a 5 yar old and a toddler - had two miscarriages too. Husband says a third is firmly off the table (my toddler was a twin pregnancy which sadly became just her) as the likelihood is it would be a third girl and or twins!

Everyone is actually really nice here - think you'll feel right at home.

Sorry to hear of your miscarriage sio39. Good luck ttc and sending you baby dust.

Hi! I've come over from Mumdrum as well!

Thanks for the warm welcomes ladies & sorry to hear about your m/c's Sio & MrsG x

CC & PS - Lovely so see you both over here & a bit more positive about the move!

I'm tayto, 33, married to H for 2 years (together for 12!) and been ttc'ing about 14 months now. We've been referred to a specialist and so far, all my tests (including my HyCoSy today) have all come back clear. H has low sperm count and 3% morphology which is a little worrying but according to the specialist definitely still possible so I'm resting all my hopes on the HyCoSy today making me super fertile for the next few cycles.

    Hello to all x

    Good idea!

Hi everyone, so sorry for all the losses image heart breaking.

So I am Pocahontas, I'm 23, been with my husband who's 50 (big age gap but works for us) for 5 years, married for 4 and we live in Suffolk. We have a 13 year old who's my stepdaughter although I have parental responsibilities for her, and a nearly 3 year old. We have fertility issues, he has Low sperm count and the sperm he does have is of low quality, and I have quite irregular cycles. We've had 2 early miscarriages along the way. We conceived our little girl using Home artificial insemination, which was renamed by the other girls the "Poke-your-Hontas method" haha.

We are currently TTC another little one using the same method (not easy living with a 13year old and a nearly 3 year old!) and I am also taking Soy Isoflavones as these are apparently "natures clomid" and it did make me ovulate at around CD14, so seems to have helped. I'm currently in my TWW.

I suffer some health problems, physical as well but mainly mental health problems.

    So that's me image

Hello everyone! So nice to see some familiar names in here and great to meet the new ones too.

I'm so sorry for your losses girls. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

So, I'm MrsB and have also just come across from the MD forum. I'm 30 (31 in a couple of weeks!) I've been married to MrB for 5 years this year and we have two daughters who are 3.5 and 1.5. The girls have their birthdays 4 days apart so it's great for joint parties!

We're not currently TTC however number 3 is not completely off the cards, we have discussed possibly trying again next year as our eldest will be going to school.

I like to lurk in all the chat sections and offer help/advice where I can. xx

welcome all the ladies from mumdrum, you all sound as lovely as the ladies on here. I'm sorry to hear everyone is having such a hard time with fertility issues, as cc says its threads like these that make you realise how much it happens and I have to say I love the support that I find on here.

as I said I'm ttc my first after a mc at the end of march. it was an awful time and still is quite raw but we decided to try again straight away mainly because of my age. its my fertile week this week but unfortunately can't bd because my oh only had an operation a few weeks ago and his stitches didn't hold so he had to get them redone last week. we are hoping all will be ok this time but I'm been a bit selfish and feeling frustrated that we cant do anything this week. oh well will just have to concentrate on next month. I live in Ireland so from what I gather the whole gp/hospital care is a bit different. we are hopefully moving into our new house at the end of the summer and getting married next year so have loads on. I don't believe in doing things by halves haha. so all advice/support on ttc is greatly welcomed x

Hi sio39 - just thought I'd jump in to say we think we've identified an issue with smileys/emoticons on iPhones coming up on posts as question marks.

If we're reading your last post right, you just tried to add a smiley, yes? Are you using an iPhone to post?

[waves at everyone else on this thread - sorry for the hijack, folks]

Hi Helen. Yep I'm on the iPhone. Does head quarters ever close and you go and enjoy the weekend?

  • Options

Aha! Thank you! That helps us work out how to fix it.

And no, they don't let me sleep. Ever. And weekends? Pah!

Hi I've come over from Md but not been on for a long time. I'm Hannah 36 and mum to Ed who's 8 and is autistic. Been ttc no 2 since 2008 so 7 years and in that time I had an ectopic pregnancy so had to have my right Fallopian tube removed. We started to have testa but found it too stressful so have been doing the whole trying not to stress and if its meant to be stuff. My husband did have his sperm count and that came back normal So one less thing. I've decided to give it another good go haha so now I'm chatting my temps again and having fertility reflexology starting tomorrow and I have a persona monitor ready for next cycle.

Hello Pinkpunkfairy - and welcome! It's lovely to see you here.

Wishing you loads of luck TTC. There are some wonderfully supportive charting and 2-week wait threads on here: do give me a shout if you'd like me to point you in their direction.
