Feeling really sick but first day visit from AF after she was two days late. Could I still be?

We are TTC for nearly a year now. I thought this was the month as I am feeling really sick but today AF came. I was due two days ago so she was late but I am hoping it could be implantation bleeding although its pretty heavy. Advice and prediction would be appreciated.
