Hi I had my last period on 8/6/15 exactly 3 weeks and 4 days since my last period which is my usual length of cycle could u tell me when I am supposed to be fertile I am currently using preseed and aplicators and ovalation sticks but on some days nothing only one line on other days stronger two lines then nothin and then stronger lines again today confusing as baby centre ovalation detector said I should be ovulating from tuesday till this Sunday coming can u help please thank u desprate for a baby after having miscarriage last year in july and was using high street knoen brand lubricants untill this month when I found they can be harmful to sperm any information appreciated.thank u tracy.

Ovulation apps only go by averages so I wouldn't pay too much attention to them. As for the sticks, i use them and once the second line is as strong or stronger than the first line that means it's positive and your surge is taking place so they class the next day as ovulation. I don't keep testing after I've had a positive as it's irrelevant and a waste of tests (although lots of people do, just down to personal choice). Sometimes I get two lines but not quite a positive but keep at it and you should get there. Good luck and keep us updated... I'm on cd 2 now so starting again this month
