Trying to conceive after birth control for 10 years

I've been on the nuva ring for about a year. 2 months ago I switched to The pill and i stopped that last month. has anyone conceived quickly after being on BC for so long ? I've had one period since stopping BC so I'm now on to the second month 🙂

    I don't understand, if you on the pill you are still on birth control to stop you getting pregnant?
