(Low positive) ovulation test

I took a test and it showed a solid and faint line. Should my partner and i start having sex now or would it still be to early?

This is our first fertile window.

    Hi Ella, an ovulation test isn't positive until the test line is as dark, or darker than the control line, but that doesn't mean you arent in your 'fertile window' , as sperm can live in fertile cervical mucus sometimes for up to 5 days. What day are you in your cycle and how long is your cycle usually?
