Trying to conceive with PCOS

Hi,

I was diagnosed with PCOS last year when I noticed I was a lot hairier than I should be! (Sorry if too much info!) I'm almost 26 and do have a regular period (28 day cycle) although my periods only last for 2-3 days. My partner and I have been trying to conceive for quite some time with no luck what so ever. I haven't been to my GP yet as I would of preferred to try and do it the natural way! I would be open to taking medication though if it was my only option. I have read that Metformin is supposed to help? Has anyone else been in a similar situation to me still conceived?

  • I've got PCOS. I lost a lot of weight and then conceived naturally (don't know if that is an issue affecting you though). I'd go see your doc and get some advice x
