Spotting with negative test

hey can someone help me please with some advice I have been trying to conceive for a couple months and this month I have had really sore boobs and nipples for over a week now suffering with mood swings headaches cramping in my feet and my body temputure been up so I thought I was pregnant I have evenly started bleeding yesterday 1st Aug and not due on my period till the 3rd Aug I am usually very heavy when on period I am hardly bleeding only really notice it when I wipe but is a little bit of blood on pad Thai has still been happening today but still very light bleeding with a on of pain in my left abdomen i took a test today and came back negative could I have still took it early and could still be pregnant?
